Profile
Silvio DaSilva is an accomplished data visualization designer, senior creative director and mentor, specializing in innovative interactive storytelling, information and product design. Silvio’s professional experience includes The New York City Transit Maps, The Associated Press, ABC News, Reuters and NBC Universal.
Currently he is consulting for an enterprise specializing in artificial intelligence on the production of a broad range of information diagrams for their verticals. He has deep knowledge of UI/UX for web and mobile devices and has built a career on the creation of news infographics for printing, broadcast, and web publishing from corporate and brand identity to digital signage and cartography. He also teaches the humanization of data product design thinking.
Silvio’s career training started in hydrographic mapmaking with the Brazilian Navy. His goal at his DataStoryLab is to bridge data science analytics with creative storytelling products.
