Tim Piatenko is the Senior Analytics Manager at Badgeville, The Behavior Platform. Tim spent six years at Caltech and Stanford Linear Accelerator Center where he earned his PhD in High Energy Physics. After learning how to analyze the results of elementary particle collisions down to ridiculous precision, he realized that people are much more interesting than particles and decided to try his hand at Web Analytics. He then went on to develop a reporting platform for Like.com and worked on understanding how users interact with search results at eBay before venturing into the land of social gaming. At Zynga, Tim worked on several projects, including the launch of CityVille. Today, Tim brings all of these experiences together to build a world-class reporting and analysis platform for Badgeville.
