This presentation is on algorithmic methods to build advanced customer personalization engines. How to use complex web behavior data to understand customer mindsets, and apply in a quantitative framework to dynamically serve customers with targeted content. I will walk through actual examples of how we've done this at a major ecommerce company (Wayfair.com), and discuss how the data science methods I mention are broadly applicable in different ways across a variety of industries.
