Sunil Sabat has years of hardware and software industry skills in varieties of roles - Intel circuit design automation to delivering enterprise software solutions involving IBM, Oracle, Microsoft and Open Source technologies.
Currently, he is a director and advisor at NRIT, an IBM Cognos Partner. He is advisor to stealth mode SDN startup in Silicon Valley and companies like TechVedika and Tatwa Inc. in India.
Sunil has co-authored an IBM Redbook that was published in 2009. Until Feb 2013, he worked at IBM in several senior roles. He has deployed and managed clusters of servers for DB2 and Websphere running on Linux with applications developed with J2EE. He has trained customers and partners on many occasions. He recently was invited as speaker at Southern California QA monthly event, talking on Big Data QA
Sunil has earned B.Tech from NIT Warangal, MS ( Computer Engineering ) and MS ( Computer Science ) from University of Louisiana, in 1989 and 1990 respectively. Sunil also has an MBA ( Marketing and Finance ) from Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, California. Sunil is IBM DB2, Microsoft .NET, SNIA Storage and CompTIA ( Linux+, Security+ and Network+) certified professional. He also holds a Software Security Certificate from Stanford University. He was a Miscrosoft Certified Trainer ( MCT ) as well.
