Predictive Modeling in Healthcare: A Brief Review of Case Studies

Abstract

Healthcare data is an incredibly rich space for predictive modeling and advanced analytics with opportunities in areas ranging from billing to patient level clinical risk and everything in between. With the proliferation of electronic medical records, an ever changing market and adjustments in payment approaches, it has become both possible and critical for healthcare organizations to leverage their data into effective competitive advantages. This session will highlight OSF HealthCare’s focus on the use of predictive modeling and advanced analytical methods through case study style descriptions of actual projects.
