Architecture Development Methodology - an Enabler for Modernisation and Transformation

Changes in Software development lifecycle methods are happening very frequently i.e. Waterfall, Agile and Continuous Delivery to fulfil the business needs in a short span of time. Similarly, changes are also happening in architecture development methods but not in same pace. Architecture lifecycle and development methods are Problem centric than Enterprise centric. Considering the agile nature of both business and technology world, frequent changes or migration is required to fulfil the customer needs. Plan of major changes are mostly pushed out due to the cost and time to market factors. This causes an increase in Technical Debt and stagnant in business growth. Traditional architecture development methods are not friendly for the modernization and transformation initiatives. So, change in architecture development methods and management is inevitable. This presentation describes an architecture development methodology to handle transformation and modernization smoother and faster.
