Mr Satterly has served in a variety of roles including developer, engineer, architect and CTO over his 25 year career. He has been a long time big data user, even before it was the cool thing to do. More recently he was able to revolutionize the way a leading online travel agency delivers their core web applications using a combination of highly scalable and flexible, best in breed tools. He currently serves as CTO for Infochimps, a CSC Big Data Business, and is a member of the Apache Cassandra MVP board. Mr Satterly has done guest lectures at Universities and presents at several conferences and symposiums yearly.
