Abstract

This session focuses on Generative AI tooling to aid the API design, services development, APIs unit/integration testing, and observability. In this session, we'll outline various stages in API development lifecycle, and highlight practical examples of automated help using Microsoft Copilot and Amazon Q. We'll cover generating refined API specs, developer portals, data contract and API service scaffolding, unit and integration test code generation, and injecting observability hooks to establish granular alerts and dashboards.
